Policies

Code of Conduct​

 

The New York State Brewers Association is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion. Harassment of conference participants in any form is not tolerated. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Sexual language, imagery, sexist, racist or exclusionary jokes are not condoned. Be kind to others.

Participants violating any of the above may be asked to leave the conference at the sole discretion of the New York State Brewers Association. 

 

If anyone makes you feel unsafe or unwelcome or if you observe someone else in situational discomfort, please report it as soon as possible. Our partner, WeVow, provides a safe reporting tool accessed by scanning the QR code below.

Health and Safety​

​

The NYSBA expects that all attendees of the NYS Brewers Conference follow public health guidelines related to safety, hygiene, and COVID-19, including, without limitation, social distancing, hand washing, staying home if you are sick, and other disease prevention measures. Conference attendees must adhere to all safety restrictions in place at the time of the event.

Accessibility​

Please submit any accessibility-related questions or requests at least 30 days prior to the Conference to emily@newyorkcraftbeer.com.

  • Access information available at check-in

  • Attendee drop-off station available

  • Accessible parking spaces

  • Accessible bathrooms available

  • Registered service animals permitted

  • ASL interpretation can be provided

  • Assisted listening devices can be provided

Exhibitor Policy

​

Exhibitor fees are non-refundable. The NYSBA is not responsible for exhibitor items shipped to the Albany Capital Center or otherwise provided by the exhibitor. Exhibitors are expected to set up and break down at the designated times only. In the event of an unforeseen emergency or inclement weather, exhibitors will be able to break down early with permission from the NYSBA staff.

 

Refunds​

​

Registration and exhibitor fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued unless the event is canceled. Sponsorship agreements are final and associated fees are non-refundable.
