Recycle bins are placed throughout the Albany Capital Center. We have partnered with the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society to donate all beverage containers that will be deposited to the organization at the close of the conference.
-
The Conference Program is entirely digital to limit single use printing.
-
Left over meals All meals at the Albany Capital Center will be served in more sustainable packaging without the use of plastic and left-over food will be donated to the Albany Mission.
-
Composting of food waste
-
A complimentary Wellness Area with information about physical and mental health has been added to the lower level of the Albany Capital Center.
-
Sustainability is woven throughout much of the programming with several breakout sessions dedicated to helping breweries become more sustainable
-
An NYSBA Sustainability Committee that includes breweries, ingredient suppliers and experts on sustainability will launch in 2023.
